The story
Jakarta, 1979. A boy working at his father’s noodle stall discovers their regular customers are ghosts, and that his father’s past is tied to the violence and disappearances of Indonesia’s 1960s anti-communist mass killings.
Here the supernatural becomes historical horror: what happens when one generation tries to bury what it did, and the next inherits the consequences.
